For Dr. Phillips, as rewarding as it is to see a patient’s bright, new smile, what matters even more to her is building lasting relationships with everyone she treats. A second-generation dentist, she’s seen firsthand how friendly, dedicated dental care can be transformative for someone, safeguarding their health while uplifting their confidence for years to come.

Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?

Dr. Phillips decided to become a dentist after seeing the way her dad cared for his patients and the meaningful relationships he made throughout his career. She was drawn to the unique combination of healthcare, artistry, and personal connection that dentistry offers.

Where Did You Study Dentistry?

Dr. Phillips completed her undergraduate education at the University of Mount Union before earning her dental degree from The Ohio State University. During her extensive clinical training in dental school, she provided comprehensive care and received experience in restorative dentistry, preventive dentistry, crown and bridge work, removable prosthodontics, and treatment planning. Committed to lifelong learning through continuing education and staying up to date on the latest advancements in dentistry, she maintains active memberships in the American Dental Association and Ohio Dental Association.

Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?

Dentistry is a popular topic among Dr. Phillips and her family, as her dad practices in Chardon, and her mom is his office manager! Growing up doing gymnastics and pole vaulting in college, Dr. Phillips still likes to stay active through Pilates and going on walks. Of course, she always makes quality time for family and friends.
